When it restarts and I go to boot into OS X, it brings up the loading screen for a bit and then the installation files, citing "MacOs unable to unmount volume for repair". In the sidebar, select a container, then click the First Aid button. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each volume on the storage device. When the First Aid process is complete, click Done. In the First Aid dialogue, click Run, then follow the onscreen instructions. #Mac os x unable to unmount volume for repair install#When I go through the setup, I select the free space and Erase it to MacOs Extended (Journal) and then install Sierra onto that partition. I then created the bootable USB with clover and all that, and am able to enter the Sierra installation screen. I need to install Hackintosh, and I'd prefer to install it onto the same SSD as carrying an external hard drive is impractical.
